This remedy is to be cautiously used in patients with irregular menstrual cycles, promyelocytic leukemia, kidney disease, vision problem, pregnancy, and breastfeeding.

This medicine is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity, thromboembolic disease, and renal impairment.

For bleeding- In adults usual dose consists of a 10 mg/kg injection to be administered intravenously. For menstrual disorder- In adults usual dose consists of two tablets of 650 mg to be given orally three times a day.
