Teneligliptin
Composition
Contains Teneligliptin, a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor.
Indications
Used to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus, alone or in combination with other antidiabetic agents.
Side effects
Nasopharyngitis, headache, hypoglycemia , gastrointestinal discomfort.
Precautions
Use cautiously in patients with renal impairment; monitor blood glucose regularly.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to teneligliptin or any component of the formulation.
Dosage and administration
Typical dose: 20 mg orally once daily; may be increased to 40 mg daily based on response.
