Tacrolimus
Composition
Each gram of tacrolimus ointment contains 0.03% or 0.1 % of tacrolimus in the base of mineral oil, paraffin, propylene carbonaye, and white wax.
Indications
This medication is indicated in the treatment of eczema.
Side effects
Mild to moderate side effect has been observed such as rash, itching, swelling, and swollen glands
Precautions
This medicine is to be cautiously used in patients with weak immune systems, and skin cancer.
Contraindications
This drug is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity.
Dosage and administration
Apply 0.03 % ointment topically over the affected area twice daily.
