Solifenacin

Composition

Contains Solifenacin Succinate, typically 5 mg or 10 mg per tablet.

Indications

Used to treat overactive bladder symptoms such as urgency, frequency, and urge incontinence.

Side effects

Dry mouth, constipation, blurred vision, dizziness, urinary retention.

Precautions

Use cautiously in patients with liver or kidney impairment, prolonged QT interval, or risk of urinary retention.

Contraindications

Urinary retention, gastric retention, uncontrolled narrow-angle glaucoma, hypersensitivity to Solifenacin.

Dosage and administration

Usually 5 mg once daily, may be increased to 10 mg based on response and tolerance.
