This drug is to be cautiously used in patients with osteoporosis, hepatic impairment, PPI- induced autoimmune disease, pregnancy, and lactation.

This drug is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity, severe hepatic failure, and hypomagnesemia.

For Erosive esophagitis, gastroesophageal reflux disease, and helicobacter pylori infection, adults are suggested to use the usual dose that consists of a tablet of 20 mg orally once a day for 4 to 8 weeks.
