Ondansetron Oral Solution
Composition
The formulation contains Ondansetron Hydrochloride Dihydrate 4 mg/5 ml with citric acid, sodium citrate, sodium benzoate, sucrose, artificial strawberry flavor, and purified water as the active ingredient.
Indications
Indicated for the prevention of nausea and vomiting associated with chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and postoperative conditions.
Side effects
Common side effects include headache, dizziness, constipation, and fatigue.

Caution in liver impairment

Known hypersensitivity to ondansetron
Dosage and administration
5 ml (2 mg) administered 30 minutes before chemotherapy, then 4 and 8 hours after
