This drug is to be cautiously used in patients with high blood pressure, bleeding disorder, pregnancy and lactation

It is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity

Available in 3 forms; Immediate release- in adult usual dose consists of tablet of 250 mg to 500 mg to be given orally twice a day. Controlled release- in adult usual dose consists of tablet of 750 mg to 1000 mg to be given orally twice a day. Delayed release-in adult usual dose consists of tablet of 375 mg to 500 mg to be given orally twice a day
