Indications
It is primarily used to treat symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), including abdominal cramps, diarrhea, and urgency.
Side effects
dry mouth, blurred vision, constipation, dizziness, and urinary retention, confusion, hallucinations, and rapid heartbeat.
Precautions
should be used cautiously in elderly patients and those with a history of glaucoma, urinary retention, or cardiovascular disease
Contraindications
angle-closure glaucoma, obstructive uropathy, and paralytic ileus.
