Meloxicam
Composition
Each uncoated tablet available in 7.5 mg/15 mg Meloxicam contain in 7.5 mg/15 mg Meloxicam IP with other inactive ingredients
Indications
It is indicated in patients with inflammation and pain in osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile idiopathic arthritis in children 2 year or older
Side effects
Mild to moderate side effect has been observed such as chest pain, anxiety, inflammation of phaynx, conjunctiva, urinary tract infection
Precautions
This drug is to be cautiously used in patients with asthma, heart disease, hypertention, pregnancy and lactation
Contraindications
It is contraindicated in patients with liver disease, kidney disease, bleeding disorder, coronary artery bypass graft
Dosage and administration
In adult usual dose consist of tablet of 7.5 mg to be given orally with or without food
