Used for the treatment of metastatic gastrointestinal adenocarcinoma,
Side effects
Side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomatitis, anorexia, fatigue.
Precautions
Use with caution in patients with impaired hepatic function, renal impairment
Contraindications
Contraindicated in patients with severe bone marrow suppression, and patients with serious infections.
Dosage and administration
Through IV infusion 0.1-0.6 mg/kg/day over 14-21 days and as per instructions of healthcare provider.
