Flavoxate
Composition
Each tablet contains 200 mg of flavoxate hydrochloride. It also contains inactive ingredients such as lactose, corn starch, povidone, magnesium stearate, and colloidal silicon dioxide.
Indications
Aids to manage the symptomatic relief of urinary frequency, urgency, nocturia, and incontinence as may occur in bladder irritability, and may be used in the treatment of dysuria and other symptoms associated with interstitial cystitis.
Side effects
The basic indications include dry mouth, nausea, vomiting, constipation, blurred vision, dizziness, headache, confusion, and rash.
