Indications
the treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), and pathological hypersecretory conditions such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome
Side effects
headache, dizziness, diarrhea, and constipation. Additionally, cimetidine may cause gynecomastia
Precautions
caution in individuals with a history of renal or hepatic impairment, as well as in patients receiving concurrent Formulations metabolized by the cytochrome P450 system
Contraindications
should also be avoided in individuals with severe renal impairment or porphyria
