the treatment of hypertension, and edema associated with congestive heart failure, cirrhosis of the liver or renal dysfunction
Side effects
hypokalemia , hyponatremia, and hypercalcemia
Precautions
caution in patients with a history of electrolyte abnormalities, gout, diabetes mellitus, renal impairment.
Contraindications
It should also be avoided in individuals with anuria
