Bimatoprost

Used to reduce elevated intraocular pressure in open-angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension; also used for eyelash hypotrichosis to promote eyelash growth.

Eye redness, eyelash growth, iris pigmentation changes, eye irritation, dry eyes, blurred vision.

Avoid contamination of the dropper tip; monitor intraocular pressure regularly; caution in patients with ocular inflammation.

Hypersensitivity to bimatoprost or any component of the formulation.

For glaucoma: one drop in the affected eye(s) once daily in the evening. For eyelash growth: apply once daily to the upper eyelid margin.

Ophthalmic solution (eye drops).
