Baclofen
Composition
It belongs to the class of skeletal muscle relaxants. Passive components- citric acid anhydrous, glycerin, and aspartame. Active components –Baclofen
Indications
It is used to relax flexor spasms, clonus, and spinal cord injury.
Side effects
Drowsiness, dilated or pinpoint pupils, muscle contraction
Precautions
It Should be declined by pregnant women and lactating mothers.
Contraindications
It must not interact with alcohol, benzodiazepines, and opioids.
Dosage and administration
Forms of medicine- Tablet, in the proportion of, 5 milligrams mg thrice a day. It should be taken orally with a whole glass of water or any noncarbonated liquid.
