Azilsartan
Composition
The formulation contains Azilsartan Medoxomil 40 mg/80 mg with microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, hydroxypropyl cellulose, and magnesium stearate as the active ingredient.
Indications
Indicated for the treatment of hypertension to lower blood pressure.
Side effects
Common side effects include dizziness, diarrhea, fatigue, and in rare cases, hyperkalemia and renal impairment.
Precautions
Monitor blood pressure, renal function, and potassium levels; use with caution in patients with renal or hepatic impairment, heart failure, or those on potassium-sparing diuretics.
Contraindications
Pregnancy, renal artery stenosis
