Use with caution in patients with a heart failure,respiratory conditions,diabetes, or thyroid disorders

is contraindicated in patients with severe bradycardia,cardiogenic shock, and cardiac failure
Dosage and administration
For hypertension the initial dose is usually 400 mg daily, for arrhythmias the usual dose ranges from 200 mg to 1200 mg per day
