Travoprost
Composition
Contains Travoprost, a prostaglandin F2α analog.
Indications
Used to lower elevated intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension.
Side effects
Eye redness, eyelash growth, iris pigmentation changes, eye irritation, blurred vision.
Precautions
Avoid contamination of the dropper tip; monitor intraocular pressure; use with caution in patients with active eye inflammation.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to travoprost or any component of the formulation.
Dosage and administration
One drop in the affected eye(s) once daily in the evening.
