Composition

Indications
Used topically to treat psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis, and eczema by reducing scaling, itching, and inflammation.
Side effects
Skin irritation, folliculitis, photosensitivity, staining of skin and clothes, unpleasant odor.
Precautions
Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes; limit sun exposure during treatment.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to coal tar; open wounds or infected skin.
