Permethrin

It is indicated for the treatment of scabies and pediculosis

Common side effects include mild burning, stinging, tingling, or itching sensation at the application site.

Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes.

Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to permethrin or other synthetic pyrethroids.

Apply a thin layer of permethrin cream to the entire body from the neck down, and wash off after 8-14 hours.
