Indications

Side effects
headache, dizziness, flushing, peripheral edema (swelling of the extremities), and hypotension
Precautions
used with caution in patients with impaired liver function, as well as in those with aortic stenosis or severe hypotension
Contraindications
It should be avoided in patients with acute myocardial infarction and in those with unstable angina.
